Courses

The lectures at IRL are organized around three main fields of knowledge: Regional planning principles, spatial economy, and landscape aesthetics. The bachelor curriculum introduces students to the regional planning principles, and microeconomics. While sustainability is addressed in a specific course in the master program, the concept provides an underlying framework throughout the curriculum. Graduate students can then deepen their knowledge in these fields while selecting specific courses, such as environmental planning, land management, quantitative methods in planning or landscape planning and visualization. With this program, we hope to inspire our students to have the same enthusiasm we feel for addressing the planning needs of a sustainable world.
