Two more cantons launched Raum+ for an overview of their settlement land reserves

The cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and Valais have decided to apply the method Raum+ for an overview of their settlement land reserves. The preparations of the survey in Appenzell Ausserhoden have started and the interviews with the municipalities are planned for the third quarter of 2019. Individual municipalities of the Valais have already applied Raum+ in the past. Now the canton has decided to assess all settlement land reserves of the canton with Raum+. The results in both cantons will serve the formulation of a cantonal management of working zone.
