Dr. Nicolas Salliou

My main interests are about individual and social change towards more ecological and ethical socio-ecological urban and rural systems.

I use and teach participatory modelling techniques like agent-​based models, Bayesian networks and mental models to companion social learning and co-​construct solutions with stakeholders.

I currently coordinate the Future Cities lab Global project in Antananarivo. This transdisciplinary project explores pathways towards sustainable and resilient city designs using blue-green infrastructures.

Other projects looked into adaptation pathways in the Alps, food transition towards plant-based diets and agro-ecological landscape management.
